Emergency Ward is 12-bedded with central oxygen line. Each bed is provided with Monitors which will help to observe the vital functions.

Trauma Care Unit is attatched to the emergency ward as a Triage with 4 beds and all the neccesary facilities and centalised oxygen supply.

Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences has a fully-equipped Ambulance with an experienced and well-trained emergency Technician is kept always ready at the Toll Gate to cater to the Trauma Cases.
